Fall Class Schedule

 

Head of the Bay Quilt for Block of the Month
During the next year, each month we will be making a 12” finished block representing something in Harford and Cecil counties (The Head of the Bay).

The cost will be $20 to join and $7.50 for each month’s block kit. You will receive a newsletter which will include a new recipe, some local history and upcoming events and instructions to complete an extra project.

The meetings will be held the 4th Thursday of each month starting at 6:00pm or you may choose the 4th Saturday at 10:00am. During the meeting, we will discuss the making of that month’s block and you may sample the included recipe. The quilt contains a block that is paper pieced and one that is appliquéd. A free class will be included to learn these techniques. If you bring a “show and tell” item to the meeting, you will be entered to win a store prize. You do not have to attend the meeting to pick up your block kit on that 4th Thursday or 4th Saturday.

Miniature Block of the Month with Lois
You can join this club any time. Make a different miniature quilt each month on the third Sunday each month from 12:00 - 4:00pm. Class fee is $20 plus kit.

Beginning Quilt Class with Sandy
A great class to learn basic skills from using the rotary cutter to piecing a quilt together! We go one step further and teach you how to quilt and bind!
Tuesdays, Sept. 9th thru Oct. 14th 5:00 - 8:00pm. Class fee $75 plus supplies.

Hobo Bag with Pam
This class has been a hit so we are having two sessions. All you have to do is buy your supplies from our shop and the class is free! You will go home with a completed bag! Pick from these 2 dates; Saturday, Sept. 6th from12:00-4:00pm 
or Sunday, Oct. 12th, from12:00-4:00pm.

Table Grace Placemats with Shirley
These placemats would be great in seasonal fabric! They are fast and easy. 
Wednesday, Sept. 3rd from 10:00-4:00pm. Class fee $15 plus supplies.

Pillow Case Class with Shirley
Start your Christmas presents early with this class.
Buy your supplies from us and learn how to put together these pillow cases for free! 
Wednesday, Sept. 10th starting at 11:00 until completion. They don't take long!

"Birds" Block of the Month - On Saturday, September 13th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Hand Appliqué with Lois
A popular class! Learn some great techniques from Lois and create a great piece of art! Class will start at 12:00pm on Sunday, Sept 14th, 28th, and Oct 12th. Class fee $60 plus supplies.

Take 5 Goes Crazy with Mindy 
Fast, easy and fun! Come in for the day or evening to make this quilt! Thursday, Sept. 18th and Oct. 9th from10:30am - 3:00pm. Class fee $40 plus supplies.

Erin Underwood's Mystery Quilt Day!
Register now for a fun day of mystery quilting on Saturday, September 20th starting at 10:00 am. Class fee $30.

Machine Appliqué with Erin
Have you wanted to learn how to machine appliqué? Now is the perfect time! Let's put those sewing machines to work doing more than just straight stitch! 
Sunday, Oct. 5th 1:00-4:00pm. Class fee $25.

Stack & Whack Revised with Pam
This quilt is a new twist on an old classic. Square those octagons off and have fun!
Wednesday, Oct 8th and 22nd 11:00-4:00pm. Class fee $40 plus supplies.

Stack & Whack Four Patch with Pam 
Stack and whack made easy with only 4 repeats of fabric. Twice as fast- looks great! Saturday, Oct. 11th 10:00-4:00pm and Oct 25th 12:00-4:00pm. Class fee $40.

Reversible Table Runner with Shirley 
This class is a quilt as you go! 
You could put fall fabric on one side and maybe a holiday fabric on the other! 
Wed. Oct, 15th 10-4 Class fee $15 plus supplies.
 
Software and Embroidery Club will be meeting 
on the first Saturday of each month now starting October 4th.
Software is at 10:30am. Embroidery Club is at 1:00pm.
